These beautiful boxes are a treasure on their own, they can stand alone and just look gorgeous or they can be filled with some meaningful gifts to add to the beauty! Be sure to read the end of this post for ideas on how to fill these boxes with no cost but priceless gifts!
This is my own vintage inspired trinket box I created with decoupaged book pages.
WrapsodyandInk
has the most gorgeous and elegant boxes. I cannot link directly to individual
photos but I just love looking through all her sold items at all her enchanting
boxes.
This sweet box was made by Norwegian designer, Inger Harding. She has a really beautiful website and many, many gorgeous creations!
This beauty is from a wonderful German designer, but the photos transcends every language!
Some of my favorite ways to fill a beautiful box to use as a gift...
- Fill with a collection of favorite quotes, scriptures, or blessings that make you think of the recipient
- Fill with photo's and keepsakes
- Fill with love notes, special memories or reasons "I love you because..."
- Fill with love! Add a tag with this sweet poem...
"This is a very special gift, that you can never see
the reason it's so special is it's just for you from me.
Whenever you are lonely, or ever feeling blue
you only have to hold this gift and know I'm hugging you.
You never can unwrap it, please leave the ribbon tied...
just hold the box close to your heart, it's filled with love inside!"

One of my husbands favorite gifts I ever gave him, I filled a hand-painted box with 365 love notes and quotes that made me think of my husband, for him to take 1 every day for a year. That was a few years ago and he still keeps all those many love notes to this day. It did take a lot of time to come up with all 365 notes and finish the project, but it was one of the longest lasting and most meaningful gifts I have ever given him. I wrote each love note on a heart shaped note and folded it into a mini envelope the way shown in the tutorial here...
How about you? I welcome your comments and ideas how you would use one of these beautiful boxes...
