How to make Vintage French Postcard Pillows

I love these sweet little postcard pillows. Unfortunately the original link is gone but they could easily be made by printing a vintage postcard on fabric and a little simple sewing and stuffing and you could easily make them yourself.
You can either Google "Vintage French Postcard" images or find some great images from The Graphics Fairy like the ones here...

The Graphics Fairy also has a great tutorial on how to print directly onto fabric using freezer paper, I've used this method many times and I love it!

Once you have your vintage postcard printed on fabric to whatever size your little heart desires, you can coffee or tea stain your fabric if you wish. Girl in Pink has a great tutorial for coffee or tea staining fabric, (be cautious to watch for any color bleeding from your printed image).

Then simply sew up the sides, stuff it and enjoy your own homemade vintage creation!

I just wanted to share a similar idea originally found in Victoria Magazine, these are sweet lavender filled "postcard" sachets. One side has room to write a message. Unfortunately the link is no longer available but sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
